Our Internship Programme
We might not be Penguin or Random House but we can offer students the chance to learn about publishing and how the small presses like Bridge House function. Our intern programme will not only help us but hopefully help creative writing students to get involved with all aspects from receipt of material through to books sales- a real hands-on experience.
We have introduced three interns to the company recently. Soon another two more will join us. They will be working on a rotation with us until July 2012. They will be answering queries, checking in submissions, assisting partners Debz and Gill and also helping Ollie, at The Red Telephone. They will receive some training from us on commissioning, editing and adminsitration.

If you're interested in working with us in 2013 do fill in our contact form and we'll keep your details on file- tell us something about yourself. It is an unpaid position for creative writing students interested in a career in publishing- you will receive copies of books you work on and will learn a lot about the process!
